Feel like you’re in a Bad Place? “Fruit of the Spirit” by Richard Williamson

When considering the fruit of the Spirit regard the relationship between the apple tree and the deer. Please bear with me for this needs some set up. What is the purpose of the tree in wrapping its seed in fruit. What does it gain in packing so much into something that encases the seed. If a seed falls to the ground close to the tree then the young sprout will grow to be in competition with the tree and one will ultimately choke the other out. But by putting the its seed in the very best it has provides nutrition to the deer, which then can travel further into the world, where it will plant the seed in a mound of fertilizer (it is all how you look at it, one person’s Ship High In Transit is another’s means to growth, hmm a principle of business, take someones problem and work the solution, another is that he who is to be first among you should be your servant – go Jesus. But a digress). So here is the revelation, the fruit of the Spirit is not nine fruits but one, see Gal 5:22 it is not plural. It is a process in which the seed is Love. Those things you love you find joy in, where you have joy you are in peace. If you have peace with something you are patient. The way you act when you are patient is kind. Being Kind is being good to others, in the fullness of goodness is faithfulness, in faith of something you are gentile with it putting it all together comes self-control. You see it is the presence of His Spirit within you that develops His character which is one fruit, His best in you. There are not many if any trees out there that I know of that put forth more than one fruit. This is the seasoning of His presence within you, think of the new wine He can make with that. – God Bless. I look forward to any feedback.
