Moving forward with Jesus

Jesus, you died and gave us a new life, can’t do it twice, you just move on with life.

I recently recalled the above words shared with me by a street evangelist many years ago. This particular evangelist recently had success with some of the modern day hippies (ravers), as he is an eccentric guy with a great attitude.

I am basically living the words of knowing that Jesus died so I could have a new life, can’t do it twice, I just move on with life. Once you confess your sins to God and believe Jesus died for you, all you can do is move on with your life whether people accept you as a Christian or not. In the end, God is the only judge and it’s Him you are going to be accountable to.

People may not accept you and you may be a loner. You may not be welcome at many Christian fellowships; all you can do is put your faith in Jesus, put the past behind you and move forward with your life. Trust Jesus and let him lead you into a bright destiny.

  1. Don’t allow your future to be determined by your past or even your present. Jesus came to open the prison doors and set the captives free! Get a new mindset: “cast your burden upon the Lord and He shall sustain thee” – All things are possible to him that believeth! Fight the good fight of faith! When the going gets rough the soldiers get touch! Don’t let the Devil get you down! Sorrow shall endure for a season but joy comes in the morning. Stay positive – endure to the end as a good soldier of Christ Jesus! Praise, Praise, Praise is the Victory! The future is as bright as the promises of God! Stay strong in Jesus, He loves you and He needs you! Praying for you too – Karen 😊
